Let's Go On a Mission With OCTONAUTS!!!!

I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter who is into everything.  EVERYTHING.  And she loves her playtime.  When Child's Play Communications offered me a chance to sign up to review some Octonauts toys I jumped on it (literally, I jumped for joy!).  Children's toys can get pricey and the move through them so fast it is nice to have a good variety around.  Plus my girl loves her some Octonauts!  (All Disney Junior shows really).

Have you heard of Octonauts?  Chances are, if you have a toddler in the home, you have.  Octonauts is a fun cartoon on Disney Junior that follows the adventures of eight underwater heroes as they explore the ocean and rescue little ocean creatures who are in some sort of kid friendly trouble.  My favorite Octonaut character is Peso Penguin - team medic.  Yes, I am a little depressed that I have my own favorite character on a cartoon geared towards my toddler daughter.  Disney does it right!

For more information on Octonauts, check out the website at www.octonauts.com or visit the Facebook page at Facebook.com/Octonauts.

Okay, back to the sweet toy set that I was sent to review.  I had a hard time getting pictures since my daughter was almost immediately into the box.  I had her outside playing so I could set it up and she came in early...and that was that!

Check out our bounty!  We got to play with all of these toys plus a fun activity book.  Like what you see?  You can pick them up for your fun loving toddler at Toys R Us.  All of these cool toys are reasonably priced ($9.99 - $14.99) and can be used in water too.  In fact, all of these toys (except the compass) change color in water.  So we can have fun on land or at (pretend) sea.  It helps with bath time since my girl is somewhat of a *drama* queen and it is like "pulling teeth" to get her cleaned up in the tub without a burst of tears at some point.

Some of our favorites are:
Kwazii & the Slime Eel - $9.95
This little guy comes with a water-squirting eel and a treasure chest that bubbles!

Gup-D Mission Vehicle & Barnacles - $14.99
This cool Manta Ray GUP-D mission vehicle works on land and in water so you can have an all around adventure.  Though I am thinking the tub isn't big enough.....next time we will be in the pool (that is, if this Michigan weather ever holds WARM!)

All in all, we loved the toys.  Even my eight year old daughter joined in on the fun in the tub.  Again, you can get them at your local Toys R Us (or their website www.toysrus.com)

Do you watch the Octonauts on Disney Junior?  Who is your child's favorite character?

Lastly, my DISCLOSURE!!!!  I was sent these products for FREE in exchange for my honest review.  All opinions are MY own and in no way swayed by fun free stuff.  We were Octonauts fans before the review and still are...Thanks!

Tee Time with Old Navy and Crowdtap #Stylish

Back at it again!  If you follow my blog at all, then you already know how much I love being a member of Crowdtap - and how I especially love when I am chosen for an Old Navy sample share.  This time I was chosen to get some free t-shirts for a friend and I.

This sample share could not have come at a better time because I just took on a part time job as a waitress and I needed some new black t-shirts.

A simple black t-shirt can go a long way but I only got one.  Spring is here and I needed to add some COLOR to my wardrobe too!

So many choices!!!  They have the regular "perfect fit" tees and the "vintage" tees.  I really prefer the "vintage" style with the v-neck.

This is the "vintage" tee in my favorite color!  I actually picked up this color for my "freebie" and also bought a orange/white combo, a solid pink tee, and an orange tee.
I love getting the employees involved in the fun too!

My DISCLOSURE!!!!  This was a FREE coupon that I received on behalf of Old Navy and Crowdtap.  All opinions are mine :-)
